Solutions Architect

About the job

In the field of Supply Chain Management, work with the Project Manager to structure technical tasks in a project in terms of dependencies and time. Help load balance all these tasks across all active projects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct discovery, i.e., participate in sales handoff and kick-off, conduct questionnaires, and generate initial functional designs. Install/Configure Integration and spec, and get the data processing pipeline built and validated. Finalize functional design collaboratively with customers and internal technical stakeholders like the CTO and solutions engineers. Implement finalized functional design and train customers on its use. Build out best practice implementation guides for standard implementations across specific customer profiles (product to be implemented, industry, goals sought, company size and structure, data size). Work with project manager/CTO to maintain and refine template projects, functional design templates, and questionnaire templates in the supply chain in the manufacturing, power plant, mining, and major transportation companies sectors.

Location: This position offers a hybrid work setup based in Belmont, MA 02478, encompassing both remote and onsite responsibilities.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Integrated manufacturing systems engineering plus 1-year experience as a mechanical engineer or related.

Business Development Representative

About the job

The business development sales representative at Smart Software will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer and revenue growth objectives. We are looking for the right individuals who can identify prospective customers, generate interest and build a sales pipeline. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas in the B2B SaaS Industry

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls and emails, and social media
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase client interest
  • Develop an effective pipeline of new client opportunities
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives
  • Conduct initial screening and mini discovery to verify that the prospect is a fit
  • Consistently make 75+ calls per day to targeted prospects in our key verticals.
  • Build prospect account and contact lists from resources provided.
  • Keep CRM system up to date.

 

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience for a B2B SaaS company (1 year minimum)
  • Strong phone presence and experience with outbound lead generation
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to explain complex topics in a straightforward manner to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Intellectually curious.  Must be willing to study supply chain and inventory planning methods.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.  Do not apply without an undergraduate degree.
  • Knowledge of inventory planning, statistics, demand forecasting, and supply chain planning concepts preferred.

Supply Chain Solution Consultant

The Solutions Consultant will work with an implementation project manager and the customer to design and architect the implementations of the company’s demand planning and inventory optimization software, plan the work using best practice project management techniques and execute the implementation. This role is measured by the on-time delivery of implementations while meeting or exceeding company metrics for process compliance and customer satisfaction. The role reports to the Director of Implementation.

This is a key position with great visibility and impact. Someone who enjoys technical challenge, to learn new technologies and is a quick learner will have a lot of opportunity to grow and challenge themselves at this fast-growing SaaS company.
Responsibilities:

  • Strong experience with Supply Chain Planning and related software required

In Belmont, MA. Responsible preparation of income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flows. Prepare financial statements for reporting. Provide required paperwork for tax reporting with bookkeepers’ work to ensure timely and accurate expense entry. Analyze company expenses for cost reduction. Prepare reports detailing revenue by source, customer, and resellers. Develop reporting to track gross revenue retention, net revenue retention, and other SaaS metrics. Optimize the use of our accounting software (currently QuickBooks online). Maintain Integrity of Chart of Accounts. Recruit and manage relationships with reseller channel partners. The Smart Software Global channel team is looking for a Channel Account Manager to join our team.  You will implement a multi-year plan to rapidly grow revenue within assigned channels. The primary focus will be to execute strategies across Smart Software and the partner, as well as managing go-to-market programs.

 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Execute business plans with partners defining clear goals, objectives, and metrics
  • Support internal teams aligned to and in support of the growth of Smart Softwarepartnerships
  • Carry out joint strategies with the partner to grow our joint business
  • Manage partner enablement for Smart Software, skills, marketing, and go-to-market programs
  • Build and manage partner, and partner channel relationships
  • Managers go-to-market programs with the partner to guide pipeline and sales.
  • Establish and promote regular communication cadence with channel partners.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in channel or channel business development, managing, global, and industry-leading partners
  • Experience across multiple partner routes to market including VAR’s, Software publishers & Strategic Partners..
  • Experience managing a partner business including demonstrated ability to apply personal knowledge, processes, and solutions selling strategies and methodologies to meet revenue growth objectives

Lead QA Engineer

The lead QA engineer will work with the dev team to support releases by building test plans and automated test cases and help solidify the company’s quality engineering framework. In addition, will act as a resource for customer support and implementation teams on product features and issues. This role is measured by the effectiveness of the QA team in improving product quality while progressively improving both QA processes and practices. The role reports to the CTO and will lead a team of two QA engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Build out test plans for each release which include allocating test execution work and test creation work, to meet quality metrics.
  • Manage and monitor the creation of automated test cases
  • Manage and monitor the execution of existing suites of regression, new feature tests and smoke tests.
  • Directly build automated test cases and add to existing test suites
  • Work with the CTO to craft Quality metrics and measure and make visible these metrics to the company.

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineering or any engineering undergraduate degree
  • 3-5+ years of working as a hands-on QA engineer on web-based Enterprise and/or SaaS software.
  • Experience writing automated test cases in Junit, Selenium etc… And performance tests with JMeter.
  • Familiarity with Test Management Systems like JIRA Zephyr highly desirable
  • Management experience highly desirable.
  • Collaborative and flexible team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Must love ongoing learning and taking on new challenges.
