Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will develop an inbound/outbound program that consistently generates top of the funnel leads and provide expertise to help sharpen Smart Software’s product marketing literature and corporate branding.   The right candidate will consistently write, produce, and distribute content such as blogs, case studies, white papers, and videos. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a multi-faceted inbound and outbound lead generation program
  • Consistently write and distribute blogs, case studies, white papers, and press releases
  • Enhance, update, and maintain web site
  • Produce product videos, customer testimonials, webinars, and marketing collateral
  • Identify events for Smart to attend and participate in on-site marketing
  • Promote user events including training seminars and user conferences
  • Develop and manage outbound customer communication
  • Unify social media presence including Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, and You Tube
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards for tracking and monitoring campaigns

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years marketing experience within the B2B enterprise SaaS or Supply Chain markets
  • Proficient knowledge of supply chain, forecasting, and inventory planning
  • Experience devising account-based marketing, and content marketing
  • Ability to develop both brand messaging and feature-level product differentiation
  • Excellent writer
  • Experience with marketing automation and email software
  • Proficiency with software solutions including Camtasia, HubSpot, GoToMeeting, Constant Contact, Adobe Illustrator, and other applications
  • Bachelor’s degree required

DevOps and IT Engineer

The DevOps and IT engineer will support the company’s Network, computer and business software infrastructure as well as perform the DevOps function for the software development team and the company’s SaaS product hosted on the AWS cloud. This is a hybrid role involving both internal IT work as well as DevOps work on the cloud infrastructure. The role reports to the CTO and will have one additional team member offshore.

This is a key position with great visibility and impact. Someone who enjoys technical challenges, learning new technologies, and is a quick learner will have a lot of opportunity to grow and challenge themselves at this fast-growing SaaS company.

Responsibilities:

  • Support internal network infrastructure such as inbound/outbound network connectivity, firewalls, DNS, and VPN
  • Support internal computer infrastructure such as business and developmentclaptops/workstations as well as VMWare hosts and SAN/NAS storage
  • Support internal development (build, source control) and deployment workflows to internal dev and test environments and AWS cloud staging and production environments
  • Monitor/Set up monitoring of cloud and on-premise infrastructure
  • Respond and remediate infrastructure alarms and failure modes
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of security threats and compliance with security policy
  • Manage and test company’s disaster recovery programs
  • Support and participate in SOC2 Type 2 audit and certification
  • Support managing the IT and ops budget
  • Help in continuous and ongoing refinement of internal processes, cost and operational efficiency

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor of Cybersecurity or IT Security (preferred), Bachelor of Information Technology, or Bachelor of Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years in hands on IT of on-premise and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)

Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for guiding the implementation team, assigning and allocating resources to the implementation project, and driving customer participation throughout the project. The implementation manager will lead project kick-offs, sales to services transitions, and status meetings to ensure that the solution is delivered on time, on budget, and meets the customer goals, objectives, and expected ROI. The right candidate will have experience managing project resources, timelines, and budgets while building strong customer relationships.  

Responsibilities:

  • Assign implementation team and allocate resources
  • Manage consulting partners
  • Ensure compliance to existing process for tracking time, hours, and project planning
  • Analyze customer supply chain challenges and propose Smart Software solutions.
  • Consult on best practices in planning solutions and advise customer on their specific challenges.
  • Ensure clear understanding of customer requirements and manage customer expectations.
  • Guide customers in their solution design and configuration
  • Document the decisions made by the client and the rationale for their decisions
  • Develops implementation project plans, timelines, and scoping document to serve as project roadmap.  
  • Provides internal reports highlight accomplishments, issues, and status against the project plans
  • Tracks hours billed against the customer budget and keeps all parties informed of expenditures to-date
  • Ensures that customer executive management is provided a periodic project update with accomplishments, issues and decisions where their action is needed
  • Work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the world predominantly in North America
  • Standardize implementation offerings and options
  • Refine tools for tracking professional service hours, budgets, project activities, and project completion.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Engineering, Transportation & Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field and 5+ years of experience as a client facing implementation consultant.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • Experience to include 5+ years with supply chain management business processes, operating systems, ERP systems, and integration.
  • Strong skill in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in one or more of the following: Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Executive Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), Inventory Management.

Business Development Respresentative

The business development sales representative at Smart Software will play a fundamental role in achieving our customer and revenue growth objectives. We are looking for the right individuals who can identify prospective customers, generate interest and build a sales pipeline. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls and emails, and social media
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase client interest
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to create and run successful campaigns to increase sales
  • Develop an effective pipeline of new client opportunities
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives

Requirements

  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Strong phone presence and experience with outbound lead generation
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with Hubspot
  • Experience working with Twitter, Linked In, and Hootsuite
