Dr. Thomas Reed Willemain is emeritus hoogleraar Industrial and Systems Engineering aan het Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute en bekleedde eerder faculteitsfuncties aan de Kennedy School of Government van Harvard en het Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Hij is mede-oprichter en Senior Vice President\/Research bij Smart Software, Inc. Hij was ook Expert Statistical Consultant bij de National Security Agency (NSA) bij Ft. Meade, MD en als lid van de Adjunct Research Staff bij een aangesloten denktank, het Institute for Defense Analyses Center for Computing Sciences (IDA\/CCS). Willemain behaalde de BSE-graad (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) aan Princeton University en de MS- en PhD-graad aan het Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n
