Slimme software verbetert de nauwkeurigheid van prognoses en de productiviteit van planners<\/b><\/p>\n

Belmont, Massachusetts, 27 september 2013<\/b> \u2013 Smart Software, Inc., leverancier van toonaangevende oplossingen voor vraagvoorspelling, planning en voorraadoptimalisatie, heeft vandaag een belangrijke upgrade aangekondigd van zijn vlaggenschipproduct, SmartForecasts\u00ae<\/sup>, met productiviteits- en prestatieverbeteringen van ondernemingsklasse. Release 9.0 is de eerste SmartForecasts-release die beschikbaar is als een eeuwigdurende licentie en via Smart Software's onlangs aangekondigde SFCloud<\/i><\/b> software als een service-oplossing.<\/p>\n

De nieuwe release stelt planners in staat effectiever te werken met zeer grote databases, voegt functies toe om prognoses voor complexe stuklijsten te verbeteren en verbetert de prognosenauwkeurigheid met 15% of meer. Belangrijke mogelijkheden zijn onder meer:<\/p>\n

Werken met grote databases<\/b>
\nNieuwe mogelijkheden voor het plannen van prognoses verbeteren de productiviteit door functies te automatiseren en ze in staat te stellen onbeheerd als achtergrondtaken uit te voeren. Dit is uitermate handig bij het voorspellen van een zeer groot aantal items, en vereenvoudigt en versnelt bewerkingen zoals het opslaan van databases en afstemming van hi\u00ebrarchie\u00ebn. De nieuwe mogelijkheden besparen planners die met grote datasets werken veel tijd, uren per week, terwijl handmatige stappen die tot menselijke fouten kunnen leiden, worden ge\u00eblimineerd.<\/p>\n

Een verwante productiviteitsverhogende functie zijn verbeteringen aan de uitzonderingsrapportagefuncties. Gebruikers van SmartForecasts kunnen er nu voor kiezen om alleen gegevens te extraheren voor die items waarvan de waarden buiten de gespecificeerde normen vallen. Door alleen deze gegevens uit de database te importeren, bespaart u tijd en vereenvoudigt u het proces van prognoseaanpassing en database-afstemming.<\/p>\n

SmartForecasts heeft ook het aantal opties voor het exporteren van bestanden in onze exportmodule uitgebreid. Gebruikers kunnen gegevens exporteren in verschillende aanvullende uitvoerindelingen, waardoor het gemakkelijker wordt om resultaten te leveren in indelingen die nodig zijn voor ERP-import.<\/p>\n

Stuklijstprognose<\/b>
\nPlanners kunnen nu de vraag voorspellen op het niveau van afgewerkte goederen en automatisch de geschiedenis en prognoses van de componentvraag afleiden. Veel fabrikanten voegen een veiligheidsvoorraad toe aan hun prognoses voor afgewerkte producten om een kant-en-klare levering van componenten te garanderen. Dit kan leiden tot overbevoorrading, aangezien de vraag naar eindproducten minder voorspelbaar is dan de vraag naar componenten. Met behulp van SmartForecasts kunnen planners nu automatisch een nauwkeurige gebruiksgeschiedenis voor elk onderdeel afleiden, op serviceniveau gebaseerde prognoses maken en de vereiste veiligheidsvoorraad van onderdelen bepalen en de niveaus van bestelpunten bepalen om een toereikende levering te garanderen.<\/p>\n

Nauwkeurigheid van de voorspelling<\/b>
\nIn versie 9.0 hebben de voorspellingsalgoritmen in SmartForecasts een oppepper gekregen. Tests hebben bevestigd dat de nieuwe versie de voorspellingsfout met 15% vermindert ten opzichte van eerdere versies. Bovendien hebben deze verbeteringen de manier verbeterd waarop SmartForecasts seizoensgebonden, intermitterende en onregelmatige vraag identificeert en behandelt.<\/p>\n

Verbeteringen aan SmartInterface<\/b>
\nSmartInterface, de database-importtool van Smart Software, is verbeterd om gebruikers in staat te stellen prognoseresultaten te importeren in bestaande prognoseprojecten. Gebruikers kunnen nu automatisch geplande vraag, budgetprognoses of bekende toekomstige orders in de prognosetabellen importeren. Het kan ook worden gebruikt om prognoseaanpassingen of nieuwe artikelprognoses uit Excel-bestanden te importeren. Deze mogelijkheid biedt een uitzonderlijk eenvoudig en effectief middel voor het opnemen van gezamenlijke input van verkoop, productspecialisten en anderen die helpen bij het verfijnen van de prognose.<\/p>\n
